Net Entertainment

No development house out there provides more exciting and playable titles than the might Net Entertainment.

As with many casino companies Net Entertainment’s history is not clear. The story has it that a number of Scandinavian gaming companies grew tired of the domination of the industry by the American and Western development houses and decided to take matters into their own hands. The result was a selection of games and a mind-set to create new and innovative games that challenged the supremacy of the old school.

In 2010 Net Entertainment took the web by storm with the arrival of their Platinum slot range. These sterling titles were headed up by the famous Gonzo’s Quest, a title that took the cascading mechanism originally profiled by High 5 Games’ Da Vinci Diamonds and added a clever multiplier system. This was soon followed by hit games in the form of Jack and the Beanstalk, Robin Hood – Shifting Riches and the massively clever Jack Hammer 2: Fishy Business.

Since this time Net Entertainment has not looked back. Although this developer clearly produces two bands of titles, there is nothing shabby about the standard title from their gaming laboratories. Titles like Piggy Riches offer players a sensational multiplier and free spin structure, while games like Subtopia, and Wild Water do a great job of injecting classic themes with new energy.

However, as you’d expect it’s with the big productions that Net Entertainment manages to stand out. Repeatedly bringing games like Egg-O-Matic and Space Wars that combine those brilliant 3D style graphics with some of the most creative new mechanisms that are seen at any online casino, it’s no wonder they’ve become a real fan favourite. In 2014 they added the famous South Park franchise into the mix and in 2015 took their stable to a scary destination with Dracula. Many slot fans are left wondering what this producer will do next.

Although some critics of the brand will argue that like Betsoft, Net Entertainment can seem a little bit more concerned about producing something new and innovative over going for a hardcore slot game the delivers a good pay-table and free spins. However, we’d argue that this isn’t the case. Over our time at online casinos we’ve found the prizes on offer from these titles are every bit as rich as those from the old favourites like WMS and IGT.

Since their inception, Net Entertainment has always been a big hit with the younger casino fans, who have been bought up on a selection of PlayStation and X-Box inspired video game titles. After releasing their Platinum Slot range to the public they were quick to assault the Smartphone market with their range of Touch games on the smaller screen. With over 200 top titles behind the brand they are now a force with which to be reckoned.
